Land Registry and Cadastre Law

Land registry and cadastre law encompasses disputes arising from the entries of real estate in the land register and from cadastral determinations. Actions for annulment of title and registration based on unlawful registration, the correction of land register entries, corrections of names, surnames and surface areas, and applications against land registry procedures form the core of this field.

Objections to cadastral determinations, actions before the cadastral court, actions based on grounds predating the cadastral determination, the correction of errors in cadastral maps and boundary application (aplikasyon) disputes also fall within this field. Compensation actions against the Treasury for damage arising from the unlawful keeping of the land register and the resolution of inconsistencies between title deed and cadastral records are likewise among its subjects. The entry and removal of annotations, declarations and notes in the land register, as well as actions concerning the forest cadastre, the removal of land from forest boundaries and real estate registered in the name of the Treasury, also fall within the scope of land registry and cadastre law.
