At the investigation stage, the defence of suspects and the preparation of complaints and criminal reports, and at the prosecution stage, the defence of the accused and the representation of victims and intervening parties form the core of this field.

The offences of fraud, breach of trust, forgery of documents and damage to property arising from real estate and commercial relationships, cybercrimes and the offence of causing zoning pollution (imar kirliliği), together with objections to detention and judicial control orders, appeal and cassation remedies and reconciliation proceedings, also fall within this field.
