Corporate Advisory
Corporate advisory covers matters relating to the continuous legal support that companies require in the course of their ordinary activities. The legal review of internal corporate resolutions and transactions, the preparation of general assembly and board of directors meetings, trade registry procedures, the drafting and follow-up of contracts and the company’s correspondence with public authorities are the main subjects of this field; the monitoring of obligations arising from employment relationships and commercial receivables, the preparation of internal regulations and the follow-up of lawsuits and enforcement proceedings to which the company is a party are also included.
As regards personal data protection compliance, the preparation of data inventories, privacy notices and explicit consent statements, the drafting of retention and destruction policies, registration with the Data Controllers’ Registry, cross-border data transfers, notification to the Personal Data Protection Board in the event of a data breach, and objections and actions against administrative fines imposed by the Board also form part of corporate advisory.
